Looking Ahead (Safehouse 1, Peckham, 2022) was the third exhibition in the series shows curated by Hiatus, a group of 2020 Arts University Bournemouth BA (Hons) Photography graduates. Most of the artists showcased work that was intended for their final graduation show back in 2020 whilst others presented new work made since graduating. Ranging from documentary to alternative processes, the exhibited works explored a range of conceptual approaches to contemporary photographic practice, pushing against the boundaries of photography as a medium through the expansion of its existing understanding.
